Peter Moy – Sales and Marketing Director

Peter has worked in the Estate Agency Industry for the last twenty nine years mostly within the local area during which time he has dealt with both residential re-sales as well as handling new developments for leading development companies.

Peter’s role within Leighton and Henley is leading the Sales and Lettings department where his responsibilities extend to providing valuable advice on product design, management of marketing strategy and dealing with the Company’s external relations generally.

Christian Stocker – Acquisitions Director

Christian has over twelve years experience in the construction & development industry. After six years with David Stocker Associates Limited where he became a Partner working on substantial residential development schemes mainly in central London, Christian was also involved in setting up Crossway Properties Limited in 2000.

Christian is responsible for acquiring all of the Company’s development sites. He is also available to advise vendors on how to achieve the best returns on their land at minimal risk and cost to themselves. Subject to local planning restrictions he can assist homeowners unlock the value of their land. Many vendors of land wish to retain a part of their plot for a new home and advice on planning matters at an early stage ensures the best price for their land is realized.

Keith Norman – Finance Director

Keith, a qualified accountant, has developed a successful commercial career from the roles of Finance Director to Managing Director in PLC and SME construction, property, recruitment and service sectors. He has undertaken varied advisory work within each of these sectors in UK and European markets.

With key operational, commercial and financial skills combined with comprehensive experience of corporate mergers and acquisitions, Keith is responsible for financial planning reporting and control within the Group.

Christopher Stewart-Smith CBE – Non Executive Chairman

Christopher has been a Chairman or Director of various public and private companies over the last twenty years and was President of the British Chambers of Commerce from 1992 until 1994.

Christopher was Chairman of London and Henley Limited between 1995 and 1998 where he worked with Kerry Kearton-Gee.

Kerry Kearton Gee MRICS - Managing Director

Kerry has been active in the residential property development business since the 1970s when he set up his own practice as a building surveyor. He has since founded several successful public residential companies including Leighton and Henley.

Leighton and Henley was launched in 2005 with the aim of taking advantage of development opportunities that the team had identified in the Northern Home Counties in order to build exceptional houses and apartments. The progress of the company to date has been in line with expectations and a significant expansion of its activities is anticipated in the near future.

David Stocker - Development Director

David has worked in the Construction industry for nearly forty years. He co-founded an architectural practice, David Stocker Associates Limited, responsible for the detailed design of over £40million worth of construction projects. The vast majority of the schemes were mainly in central London for private individuals and companies which include, City Gate Estates and London and Henley Limited.

David co-founded Crossway Properties Limited in 2000 until jointly setting up Leighton and Henley Plc where he is responsible for the technical design and detailing of its new developments ensuring conformity to the highest standards set down by the NHBC, local Building Regulations and design best practices generally.

Alexander Stocker – Planning Director

Alex has worked in the construction industry for nineteen years and in 1992 co-founded the architectural practice, David Stocker Associates Limited where he was responsible for scheme design and planning for over £20million of construction ranging from new build to change of use and, conversion of redundant properties into large scale residential flats.

Alex co-founded Crossway Properties Limited in 2000 responsible for the planning and design of one off country properties. In 2005, he co-founded Leighton and Henley Plc and is responsible for designing and maximising the Company’s new residential schemes to the benefit of the local environment often within very restrictive local planning requirements.

He can assist off-plan buyers of our homes should they wish to discuss changes to internal alterations or layout. He can assist landowners in maximizing the potential of their site and designing for them bespoke houses or apartments.

Simon Roberts BSc, MRICS - Construction Director

Simon has worked in the construction industry for twenty-eight years and has held Senior Management positions for the past fourteen. He has worked for residential development companies for eighteen years including City Gate Estates, London & Henley, St James Group and Fairview New Homes.

Simon’s role within Leighton and Henley is providing expert cost and program advice at feasibility stage, viewing the potential for maximizing planning and, following acquisition, ensuring tight cost and program control to final completion of all of the Company’s houses and apartments to an exceptionally high standard of design and finish.
