The Location ~ Bushey and Watford

With a population of around 16,500 inhabitants, the sought after Hertfordshire residential town of Bushey sits just two miles to the south of Watford with its own thriving High Street shops and a good selection of restaurants and public houses, yet is ideally placed for access to the Harlequin Centre with more than 145 boutiques and stores including John Lewis, BHS and Marks & Spencer. Excellent rail and bus links ensure easy access and extensive parking is provided for motorists.

The M1 and M25 motorways are a short drive away with swift access to London and the Midlands. In 1837, Bushey station was served by The London and Birmingham Railway Company, the first mainline railway in the United Kingdom. Nowadays, Silverlink Train Services delivers passengers into Euston in about twenty minutes but also allows easy connections with Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Bushey Grove Leisure Centre is within easy walking distance of The Limes and a David Lloyd Health and Fitness Club is just a short drive away. Both centres offer great amenities for health and fitness including a gymnasium, swimming pool and superb indoor and outdoor racquet facilities.

However the true essence of The Limes is its green and leafy location adjoining Bushey Hall Golf Club, the oldest parkland golf course in rural Hertfordshire. Established in 1890, with its Grade II listed timber-frame clubhouse, the course is ideally set within 120 acres of mature wood and parkland.
